Research Assistant Positions

Research Assistant I

  • Distribute surveys at Group Homes with Foster Youth Interact with Foster Youth

  • Review literature and find empirical surveys that can be used for current survey

  • Review and summarize literature on foster youth Write literature review based on research findings

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Completed a Research Methods course with a grade of B or better

$750 Stipend

Research Assistant II

  • Distribute surveys to Foster Youth

  • Manage and analyze data

  • Prepare reports summarizing quantitative data, findings, and recommendations

  • Develop study protocols and study designs Conduct focus groups

  • Prepare fact sheets for distribution to policymakers, the public, and press

Minimum qualifications

  • Completed Research Methods and Statistics Courses with grades of B or better

  • Experience presenting quantitative data in visual format

  • Experience with SPSS

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working on academic research projects from start to finish

  • Experience with mixed methods analysis and reporting

$1150 Stipend

Research Coordinator I

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, and work hours.

  • Organizing, attending, and participating in meetings with youth, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.

  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.

  • Determining project changes.

  • Providing administrative support as needed.

  • Undertaking project tasks as required.

  • Developing project strategies.

  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.

  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

$1000 Stipend
