About the event

~Join us for our 3rd Annual Anti-Human Trafficking Walk for Youth! Event will be informative but also fun! We will walk to spread awareness about Human Trafficking.

Help give back by walking, using your voice, and fighting Human Trafficking among youth in our community!  SPEAKERS INCLUDE:

San Bernardino County District Attorney Jason Anderson: District Attorney Anderson’s mission includes respecting and inspiring confidence in the rule of law both inside and outside the Office, collaboratively ensuring justice with excellence, integrity and compassion, stewarding public resources to hold the guilty accountable, support victims of crime, and honoring the humanity of all involved in the criminal justice system, and restoring a culture of service and accountability to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.

Trinity Wallace-Ellis: In a world that often overlooks the voices of our most vulnerable, Trinity stands before you as a beacon of resilience, determined to illuminate the path towards a brighter future. Gracing our stage today is Trinity Speaks, and her life's work has been devoted to breaking generational cycles that plagued her family with addiction, abuse, system involvement and system dependence, she’s been equally committed to uplifting and empowering those she’s most passionate about; foster youth, incarcerated youth, pregnant and parenting teens, while also, inspiring the tireless champions who walk alongside them—the parents, caregivers, teachers and child welfare professionals who shape their journeys.

For more than two decades, Trinity has immersed herself in the world of foster care, delving into the intricate complexities of a system that can both break spirits and build unyielding strength. It is within this domain that Trinity’s purpose was crystallized, as she not only experienced the foster care system firsthand from the tender age of five, but also ventured beyond its confines to provide care, support, and unwavering advocacy for those experiencing the foster care system and her own family members.

Trinity’s journey, marked by resilience and relentless determination, has been a testament to the human spirit's indomitable power. It is a journey that has led her to stand before you today—a world-renowned speaker, offering solace, guidance, and unwavering hope to foster youth, social workers, foster parents, teachers, lawyers, judges, and the fierce advocates who champion the rights of abused, abandoned and neglected children.

The reach of her advocacy has extended far beyond the confines of her personal experiences. Trinity has been honored to lend her voice and share her expertise in the award-winning documentary "Amara & Ry-Shauna," a poignant testament to the strength and resilience of those within the foster care system. Furthermore, Trinity is featured in the pages of the New York Times Bestseller, "Born For Love" by the esteemed Dr. Bruce Perry, providing yet another platform to amplify the voices of children, their families and their communities, while elevating the urgency for change.

Through the power of her words and the resilience ingrained in her spirit, Trinity strives to be a catalyst for change, a lighthouse in a sea of challenges. With every speech, she challenges societal norms, dismantling barriers, and beckoning the collective consciousness to embrace the transformative power of resilience. Trinity’s voice reverberates through the hearts and minds of all who listen, urging them to see the untapped potential that resides within each child and the incredible impact they can make on our world.
